NOFX es una banda de punk rock californiana formada en 1983[6] por Fat Mike (Mike Burkett), Erik Sandin y Eric Melvin. La banda alcanzó una gran popularidad en 1994 con su álbum Punk in Drublic, que fue disco de oro alcanzando la fama internacional. NOFX ha publicado 10 discos de estudio, 15 EPs y bastantes sencillos y han vendido cerca de 6 millones de copias en todo el mundo de manera independiente[7] y sin que su música sea pasada en radios ni televisión, dando entrevistas sólo a medios independientes.

Tim McIlrath (nacido el 3 de noviembre de 1979) es el guitarrista y cantante de la banda estadounidense de hardcore melódico Rise Against. Tim es considerado por los fans como "La Voz de Punk".[cita requerida]

Rise Against:

La formación original de Rise Against consistía en Tim McIlrath (voz y guitarra), Joe Principe (bajo y voces), Brandon Barnes (batería), y Mr. Precision (guitarra y voces), y grabaron su álbum debut con el reconocido productor punk Mass Giorgini. Mr. Precision dejó la banda en 2001 y fue reemplazado por Todd Mohney. Poco después de firmar con Geffen, Mohney dejó la banda y fue reemplazado por Chris Chasse.Es cierto.

COREY TAYLOR:
Corey Taylor nació el 8 de diciembre de 1973 en Des Moines, Iowaes el vocalista principal de la banda Slipknot y vocalista fundador de la banda Stone Sour.

Lucha contra el alcohol
El beber de Taylor fue un problema que se fue agravando con el tiempo. Alcanzó el punto de que Taylor se levantaba y comenzaba a beber hasta perder la conciencia. Al poco tiempo, su esposa y sus hijos lo abandonaron. Taylor eligió parar de beber antes de perder a su familia. El próximo año seria el peor año de su vida, ya que tuvo que redefinirse como persona y reparar el daño que le había hecho a su familia y a su cuerpo. Entonces pasó un tiempo en el que estuvo solo, su esposa dice que en ese tiempo el era egoísta y frío. Durante su aislamiento el reflexionó y esto sirvió para crear algunas canciones. Finalmente Taylor estaría totalmente sobrio y pudo continuar su vida normal.

Su padre
Taylor no conocía a su padre, ya que su madre no dejó que su padre siguiera viviendo con ellos antes del primer cumpleaños de Corey. La canción "Eyeless" habla de la rabia de Taylor contra su padre por haber abandonado la familia tan pronto. No pasó mucho tiempo para que los dos se volvieran a juntar. Su esposa Scarlett convenció a la madre de Taylor de que le diera el nombre de su padre. Hasta que su madre aceptó. Entonces Scarlett contrató un detective privado para que lo encontrara y logró su objetivo. Los dos acordaron una reunión, que duro cerca de 20 minutos, y Taylor dijo: "Se ha abierto un nuevo capítulo en mi vida.
